Gabriel Glockler holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University (St. Edmund Hall) and an MA in European Studies from the College of Europe, Bruges. He joined the European Central Bank (ECB) in January 1999. From 2003 until 2009 he was Counsellor to the ECB Vice-President and the Vice-President’s Chief of Staff. He is now Deputy Head of the EU Institutions Division in the Directorate General International and European Relations.
